Yesterday (August 30th) an asymmetric full halo coronal ejection 💦 flew off the Sun during an M2.7 solar flare from sunspot region 4199, which at that time was aimed STRAIGHT AT US! 😱 There's no doubt that this cloud of plasma is heading toward Earth, since the animated LASCO C2 coronagraph footage (peek below) shows a clear halo outline. It's clearer than the fact that Monday after payday always ends up at Žabka! 🛒
We expect this cosmic shower 🚿 to arrive tomorrow (September 1st) around 20:00 UTC (plus/minus 6 hours). So if somewhere between 20:00 and 2:00 our time both the TV and wifi start glitching at once, now you know why! 📱❌ Geomagnetic storm conditions are very likely, since NOAA SWPC issued a warning for a moderate G2 (Kp6) geomagnetic storm tomorrow (September 1st) and surprisingly even a warning for a strong G3 (Kp7) geomagnetic storm the following day (September 2nd), when the CME effects should culminate. 📈
